A research on mythological elements in Anatolian field animal tales

The myths, which have existed since the beginning of humanity, have come up to today by losing their feature of belief. It is undoubtedly the folk narratives which enable the myths to come up to now and transfer them from today to the future. These folk narratives, which contain motifs and symbols, sometimes contain mythical elements. One of the folk narratives carrying myths up to now is undoubtedly fairy tales. Fairy tales are folk narratives that show extraordinary features by nature. These extraordinary things are often explained by mythology. In this field, the mythological elements in the animal tales of Anatolian field have been examined. First studies on mythology have been researched, and then fairy tales evaluated in the light of these studies. The mythological elements in the fairy tales have been supported with reference to the fairy tales examined by mentioning the place and importance of Turkish mythology. In the first part of the study, which consists of four parts, information on mythology and fairy tales and studies in these fields are mentioned. In the second part, the heroes in the fairy tales take place. In the third part extraordinary elements and natural elements in tales are examined. Spirits, witch, giant, dragon, frost change, dream, death-resurrection, fairy, curse, magic, magic, secret, treachery and betrayal are extraordinary elements. Natural elements are; forest-tree, mountain, cave, stone, water, fire, earth, moon and sun. Finally, in the fourth chapter, the colors, numbers and other motifs in fairy tales are analyzed. As a result of study it has been determined that the mythological elements were preserved in the animal tales of Anatolian field and that Turkish beliefs and values were transferred through the fairy tales based on the texts studied.
