Abstract (EN)

This thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of the reliability of DRAM and SRAM modules, integral components in high-performance computing systems. Utilizing data from a free MTBF calculator, the research is structured around four case studies - two each for DRAM and SRAM modules, focusing on component and system reliability. The investigation encompasses various operational scenarios, highlighting the resilience of these modules in data processing, cloud services, and telecommunication networks. By assessing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Failure Rate, the thesis aims to provide insights into the reliability of these memory components and evaluate different statistical methods for reliability estimation. The methodology adopted reflects realworld operational conditions and environments typical to these modules, offering a detailed view of the reliability impacts on system performance. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of memory module reliability, guiding design and operational decisions in complex computing environments
