Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the above-ground carbon storage capacity of pure Anatolian balck pine stands of Ankara Regional Directorate of Forestry. For this purpose, sample plots and sample trees were taken, necessary measurements were made and samples were taken to determine the amount of carbon. The samples taken in the field were brought to the laboratory and the products were baked and ground and made ready for carbon analysis. The amount of carbon they contain was determined by carbon analysis, and the amount of carbon stored by each component was determined by making the necessary transformations. Carbon models were developed for each component using the carbon storage amount and breast high diameter, and with the help of these models, the amount of carbon stored in the stands was found. Amounts of carbon stored in pure Anatolian black stands within the borders of Ankara Regional Directorate of Forestry; Trees are between 7.25 tons/ha and 137.19 tons/ha, with an average of 55.34 tons/ha. lifter is between 2.03 tons/ha and 29.77 tons/ha, with an average of 12.76 tons/ha. Dead wood is between 0.27 tons/ha and 1.82 tons/ha, with an average of 0.81 tons/ha, and living cover is between 0.008 tons/ha and 0.09 tons/ha, with an average of 0.04 tons/ha. The total amount of above-ground carbon storage varies between 7.25 tons/ha and 161.80 tons/ha, with an average of 64.43 tons/ha.
