Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine estimating biomass of Turkish pine (Pinus brutia Ten.) stands in Antalya region. For this study, 159 sample trees from natural Turkish pine stands in Antalya were sampled. When sample trees were determined, it was noted to ensure that the distribution of the diameter and height class. Diameter at breast height, stem diameter on 2 m sections, all living branches and heights of each sampling trees were measured. Regression Analysis was used to prepare biomass tables. As a result of regresyon analysis, it was found 0,05 significant level between breast height diameter and aboveground biomasses of a tree growing parts. Biomass equtions which were fitted using these variables were tested in independent data set, consisting of 32 sample trees. Test results indicated that biomass equations were statistically usable for stands of Turkish pine in Antalya with 0,05 significant level. The coefficients of determination of biomass equations (R2) were varied between 0,790 and 0,950. Key Words: Biomass, Turkish pine (Pinus brutia Ten.), Regression Analysis
