Abstract (EN)
A novel selective PVC membrane solid-state microsensor was developed for antihypertensive drug atenolol (AT). The potentiometric performances of prepared AT-selective microsensor were tested under static conditions. The AT-selective microsensor performed good behaviour (~37 mV/per decade) in atenolol solutions with a short response time ( <12 s) and long life-time (4-6 weeks). The prepared AT-selective sensor exhibited a linear response towards atenolol solutions in a wide concentration range ( ~10-2-2,5x10-5 mol.L-1 ). The prepared microsensor also exhibited good selectivity towards atenolol. The prepared AT-selective potentiometric microsensor was successfully utilized for the determination of atenolol in pharmaceutical sample.
