Abstract (EN)

The study, long-term Research & Development (R&D) investments on economic growth in Turkey's economy is intended to determine the direction and magnitude of the impact. In line with this study, the period covering the years 1990-2016 R&D investments in Turkey amount of physical and human capital accumulation and control variables and econometric models are estimated using time series analysis methodology. The results obtained in the realization of model estimation result in four phases, the R&D investments in Turkey positive as investigation period the economic growth performance of the economy versatile and have a statistically significant effect that reveals. Furthermore, there is a one-way causality relationship between R&D investments and economic growth. Keywords: Economic Growth, R&D Investment, Time Series Analysis.
