al-Ishtikak in Arabic Language, Abdulkadir al-Maghribi and his Book Named al-İshtikak ve't-Ta'rib

Abdulkadir al-Maghribi is a sincere Ottoman defender living in the late Ottoman period. Al-Maghribi, who devoted his life to Islam and the Arabic language, was one of the important Arabic language philologists of the 20th century; He wrote many works in the fields of Tafsir, Hadith, Rhetoric, Grammar and Etymology. In this study, after addressing the life, personality and the versatility of his professional life, his work named "al-Ishtikak ve't-Ta‛rîb" is introduced and Ishtikak (The art of using combination of words derived from the same root) topics in the work are discussed. The study consists of an introduction and two main parts; In the introduction brief information about Arabic language, the importance of the Ishtikak science, conceptual framework and general information about the parts of Ishtikak has been presented. In the first part; Abdulkâdir el-Mağribî's life, his scientific development, influenced personalities and the works he wrote were introduced. Also brief information was given about his works which have not yet been published. In the second part; general characteristics of the work were given. Following the index of the work, which examines the three main topics of Ishtikak science, the subjects of Ishtikak, Ta'rib and tawleed were discussed.
