Abstract (EN)

Used as geodetic framework and forming the basis for many engineering works such as bridges, dams, residential area planning, roads, zoning plans, and transportation projects, the present maps are created by terrestrial methods, space techniques, and photogrammetric methods. The present maps created for a workspace includes triangulation, travers, and levelling points, buildings, the number of floors in a building, elevation curves expect for pavements, roads and streets; trees, natural water reserves, rivers, seas, forests, electricity poles, block and parcel numbers and borders. The present maps are also a work of geomatics engineering which serves as a base for any kinds of projects related to earth. They are used as an important project framework in land consolidation. As the land is so large and valuable, the required geodesy framework has a great significance. In this study, the satellite-based and photogrammetric creation of present maps used as geodesic framework in land consolidation in Konya region were compared in terms of cost, time, and precision. Keywords: Land consolidation, Present maps, Mapping, Terrestrial methods, Photogrammetric methods.
