Flora of Posof, Damal and Hanak district in Ardahan

This study focused on to investigate flora of three districs of Ardahan (Posof, Damal, Hanak) where are north of Kura River in southeast part of East Anatolia Region between years of 2007-2009. The study field where is between 900-3200 mt. Altitude is in Euro-Siberian phytogeographical area of Holarctic region and in A9 square by square method that was used by Davis. In this searching study, 1225 taxa have been determined which are related 95 families and 411 genus 16 of these taxa are related with Pteridophyta and 1209 taxa are related with Spermatophyta divisios. 9 taxa of Spermatophyta are Gymnospermae and 1200 of them are in the Angiospermae subdivisions.The most taxa included families are; Compositae 190 taxa (% 15,62), Leguminosae 78 taxa (% 6,4), Rosaceae 70 taxa (% 5,7), Caryophyllaceae 65 taxa (% 5.3), Scrophulariacae 60 taxa (% 4.9), Gramineae 53 taxa (% 4,3), Cruciferae 50 taxa (% 4,1), Liliaceae 45 taxa (% 3,6), Braginaceae 43 taxa (% 3,4), Ranunculaceae 37 taxa (% 3,05) . The floristic areas have been determined for 612 taxa (% 49,9) of this study field. Distribution of taxa according to phytogeographical regions is like this; 384 taxa (% 62,7) Euro-Siberian, 213 taxa (% 34.8) Irano-Turanian, 15 taxa (% 2,4) Mediterranean.85 piece endemic plants have been determined at field study and endemizm ratio is 7 % .
