Abstract (EN)
To determine moss diversity of Ardahan region, investigation materials were collected from 39 different localities between 01 March 2014 ve 01 September 2016 in the Ardahan (center) and Göle district. The taxonomic survey of Ardahan yielded 252 taxa belonging 11 order, 36 families and 94 genus in division Bryophyta. From 3 taxa Hygrohypnum ochraceum (Turner ex Wilson) Loeske, Hageniella micans (Mitt.) B.C. Tan & Y. Jia and Herzogiella turfacea (Lindb.) Z.Iwats.) are new to Bryophyte Flora of Turkey. Also, Hennediella heimii (Hedw.) R.H.Zander and Syntrichia minor (Bizot) M.T.Gallego, J.Guerra, M.J.Cano, Ros & Sánchez-Moya have been recorded for the second time for Turkey with this study. In addition, 91 taxa (specific and infraspecific) for A5 square have been regarded as the new records according to the Henderson (1961) Grid System of Turkey.
