Abstract (EN)

In this study, the Marshall Test (TS EN 3720/12697, AASHTO T 245, ASTM D 1559) was applied to asphalt pavement samples prepared with different percentages of crumb rubber additive selected as 8%, 10%, and 12% to investigate their effects on Marshall parameters. Stability, flow, and stability/flow ratios were examined. An approach was developed to evaluate the concept of heterogeneity and homogeneity among identical samples by preparing a large number of samples. The purpose of preparing a large number of samples with different and acceptable rubber additive ratios was to contribute to the homogeneous preparation of identical samples and to evaluate the contribution that could be made to quality control processes in this respect. A total of 54 briquettes were produced for the Wearing Type 1 mixture. 18 briquettes were produced for each option. The first 18 briquettes were prepared at 8%, the second 18 at 10%, and the last 18 briquettes at 12%. Marshall Tests were performed on 54 bricks, and stability, yield, and stability/yield evaluations were performed.
