Examination of the value education elements in poems of Âşık Şeref Taşlıova

This study was performed to show the role educating the society of minstrelsy tradition which is cultural institutions by identifying value education elements, which has an important role minstrelsy traditional, which is located poems of Âşık Şeref Taşlıova. For this purpose, in this research qualitative research method was used analyze the document based on tex analyasis. In this process Lover's 203 poems which is the eight-syllable had been examined and value education elements had been identified in those poems. This identified elements have been classified and various subject headings have been created. These titles are behavior, language and education, religious education, nature and the universe, space and time, social life, national culture, patriotism and history, life, human feelings. Created topics are divided into sub-headings in terms of the topics covered. It had been concluded that educational function of the minstrelsy tradition happened by the poems of Âşık Şeref Taşlıova wherefore detected from motion of the value education elements, the poet contributed raising awarenes and learning different values of generation. In this study, besides, it is included various activity proposals based on minster literature and Şeref Taşlıova. Keywords: Minstrel, Âşık Şeref Taşlıova, Value, Education
