Asli Erdoğan life-literary personage-works

Among the first Turkish physicians having chance to work in CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), Aslı Erdoğan, at the same time, is shown among ?50 Authors Who Belong to Future? by a French literary magazine ?Lire?. The author, awarded especially in Europe, has totally eight works in the genre of novel, story and column. In this study, the three of them that are constituted from her columns were excluded; the other five works were analyzed. This study was started by firstly investigating her novels from the point of structure; the work overview, relation of name and content, plot, perspective and narrator, time, place, and the character worlds were analyzed. For the theme of works different title was constructed, also under the title of relation of name and content and the worlds of characters information about the theme was given, too.In the part that the stories were investigated, the adventure of individuals? alienation, their struggles with the life, love, torture, confinement were done thematically under these titles. In this part that the common traits were tried to be found time, place and character worlds were took part in. Key Words: Aslı Erdoğan, novel, structure, story, theme.
