Atatürk's travel to the Eastern Black Sea and its reflections to the region

Atatürk traveled throughout Turkey as part of his country tours. The longest of these trips is the Autumn Trips. I limited this study to trips to our three cities in the Eastern Black Sea Region: Trabzon, Rize and Giresun. As part of the Autumn Trips, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk went to Trabzon on 15-17 September 1924, to Rize on 17-18 September 1924, and to Giresun on 19 September 1924. Apart from these, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk went to Trabzon two more times on 27-29 November 1930 and 10-12 June 1937. My work consists of Trabzon, Rize and Giresun sections. First of all, after examining the general historical processes of these provinces, I gave information about their experiences and activities in the period before and after the National Struggle, as well as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's travels in these provinces. At the end of each chapter, I explained the details of Atatürk's trips to Trabzon, Rize and Giresun, and their social, economic, military, political and cultural reflections. Atatürk's country trips have various purposes. The aims of this trip are to feel the pulse of the people in order to put the reforms on a solid foundation, to present the necessary information about the reforms to the public, to ensure the leader-people meeting, to create the roadmap necessary for the development and prosperousness of the people as a necessity of the Republic, together with the people themselves.
