Abstract (EN)

A great of majority of matter are considered as waste which consists of recyclable materials. Disposal and storage of waste is considered as a big problem in turkey and all over the World. One of the most logical solutions for this application is to furbish waste after recycling. Rubber is an industrial waste and there is many researches regarding the usage and the improvement of waste rubber in buildings. The main purpose of this study is to provide slightly high strength, low density, high temperature and acoustic insulation for more productive building in terms of energy. The disposal of used rubber is a contribution to environment and reduces the cost and provides material for insulation as using an addictive material. Accordingly, waste rubber aggregate mixed volumetrically with 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% of ordinary aggregate in constant water-cement proportion. Six experimental samples produced with different weight. All the samples were tested its mechanic properties and determined its temperature properties by using thermal plate method according to ASTM and EN standards. The results were showed that strength and density were low and sound and insulation increased in addictive sample of waster rubber. Additionally, thermal conductance and thermal diffusion decreased.
