Abstract (EN)

Waste marble powders are fine-grained waste materials obtained from marble processing plants. It constitutes a research area in the literatüre where marble powders can be used in cost and ecology oriented production in mortars, which are cement binder-based building materials. For this purpose, the freezing-thawing properties of the marble powders substituted mortar samples were experimentally investigated in this study. In the production of mortar, marble dust has been substituted with cement at rates of %5, %10, %15 by weight. Standard water curing was applied for 28 days to the prepared witness and marble powder added samples. In order to determine the freze-thaw behavior of the mortar samples, the blank samples and the doped samples were exposed to the freze-thaw cycle in accordance with the TS 699 standard. It was tried to determine the effect of marble dust on the freze-thaw behavior of mortars with physical and mechanical properties measurements made before and after the freze-thaw cycles. It has been determined that there is a loss of strenght after the freze-thaw cycle due to the increase in the marble powder replacement raito.
