Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, some strategic raw materials were determined in Tunceli Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant and their removal efficiencies were calculated. In this context, wastewater samples were taken from different units of Tunceli Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant at different time intervals. In wastewater samples, barium (Ba), bismuth (Bi), cerium (Ce), cobalt (Co), gallium (Ga), lanthanum (La), lithium (Li), neodymium (Nd), phosphorus (P), praseodymium (Pr), strontium (Sr), titanium (Ti), vanadium (V), and yttrium (Y) were detected. According to the data obtained, the highest removal efficiency of Tunceli Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant is 50% for Ti in the 1st week, 64.29% for Bi in the 2nd week, 50% for Ti in the 3rd week, 50% for the Bi in the 4th week, 52.17% for Ti at week 5 and 60% for Ti at week 6. In the oxidation pond of Tunceli Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant, the highest removal efficiency obtained for strategic raw materials in the 1st week was 58.33% for Y, 75% for Pr in the 2nd week, 60% for Pr in the 3rd week, 61.43% for P in the 4th week, 59.17% for Ce in the 5th week and 56% for Ti in the 6th week. In the final settling pond of Tunceli Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant, the highest removal efficiency was 69.57% for Nd in the 1st week, 67.21% for Ce in the 2nd week, 71.05% for the La in the 3rd week, 68.18% for the Nd in the 4th week. 69.57% for Nd in the 5th week and 77.78% for Nd in the 6th week. As a result, it was determined that Tunceli Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant was effective in the removal of some strategic raw materials.
