Abstract (EN)

In this study AISI 316L stainless steel sample surface was multi-layer coated using APS method (atmospheric plasma spray) with NiCoCrAlY as a bound layer on the lower surface, ferrochrome on it's mid-layer and with one of these three commercial powders on the outer layer: WC +12 Co, ZrO +5 Co and TiO2 +45 Cr2O3. In our study we tested dry sliding wear resistance behaviour of these three powders under the three different speeds and three different pressures. On the basis of the results of our testing it can be concluded that in the same conditions WC +12 Co commercial powder applied on ferrochrome slag has higher resistance than ZrO +5 Co and TiO2 +45 Cr2O3 powders. Under the same wear test conditions ball on the disk didn't reach the lowest layer of our multi-layer coating. Samples had good performance due to the special features of the ferrochrome slag, which are lower hardness (slag was not cracking) and higher toughness (sturdiness).
