Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to discover the fine structure energy levels of the neutral vanadium (VI) atom and to experimentally examine the hyperfine structures of these new levels. Unidentified spectral lines in the spectrum of V element taken by Fourier Transform (FT) spectroscopy method were examined. Three even parity new fine structure energy levels were found for the first time in this study using optogalvanic spectroscopy (OGS) and Laser-Induced Fluorescence (LIF) spectroscopy methods. The experimental magnetic dipole hyperfine structure constants of the new fine-structure energy levels found were determined for the first time in this study. In addition, the value of one magnetic dipole hyperfine structure constant given in the literature was revised. Experimental studies were carried out in the Laser Spectroscopy Laboratory within the Physics Department of the Science Faculty of Istanbul University.
