A research on the formation of spaces and circulation systems of the theme parks at Europe

A Research On The Formation Of Spaces and The Circulation System Of The Theme Parks At Europe The goal of this study is to analyse the forms of spaces having different characteristics and the circulation system between them with the datas obtained from a detailed document study on theme parks at Europe. At the theorotical part, phase I the concepts of leisure time and entertainment were described and the factors having an important role in designing theme parks were investigated. In addition to these, a detailed information on the goals of theme parks and the activities that they involve were given. In the experimental part, the forms of the spaces in theme parks and the influences of these forms on the usage, of that place were examined and analysis tables were done. In addition, analyzes of the relationships between circulation systems and the places of the theme parks were also done. With evaluating the datas obtained from these analyzes some suggestions which can be effective at forming spaces and planning circulation systems in the theme parks were brought in.Key words: Leisure Time, Entertainment, Amusement Parks, Space, Entry, Circulation
