Abstract (EN)

The concepts of politics and marketing are important disciplines that have enormous impact upon people's lives. The importance and effect of political marketing, both in academic field and in terms of political actors have been increasing in recent years. Especially, innovations and developments in political marketing must carefully examined for political success. There are lots of different factors that affect electors' decisions and behaviours. This study, aiming to analyze the impact of political marketing activities on the political behavior of Turkish voters living in abroad. Nowadays, the success of political actors depends on implementing political marketing activities in such increasingly competitive environment. Therefore, the importance of the concept of political marketing that arose when the methods developed by commercial marketing are adopted for politic will continue to increase in the future. This study, aiming to analyze the political behavior of Turkish voters living in Austria, is being formed by three parts. In the first part of study, the definitions of the main concepts are performed and in the second part the factors that affect the political participation and voter behaviors are examined. In the last part, there is a research that analyzing demographic factors in terms of their political participation of the Turkish voters living in Austria. The study is completed with the evaluation of the findings and recommendations for future studies. Consequently, this study is expected to contribute to the national and international. Moreover, it is thought that political parties will contribute to the future political campaign activities for the voters living abroad.
