Abstract (EN)

Through the relevant literature, there has not been sufficient information on the study of the anti-fungal effect of ozone gas upon foot fungus. In this study, the in-vitro effect of the 0.04 ppm ozone gas produced by the ozonized-foot-drying-machine upon varying concentrations of Trichophyton mentagrophytes colonies, a kind of foot fungus, has been investigated. To examine the effect of ozone upon foot fungus, efore mentioned petri-media have been operated by with ozoned and ozoneless gas along varying time spans. After supplying sufficient incubation period, the numbers of the procreated fungus in ozone-exposed and unexposed petri containers have been counted; and the anti-fungal efect of the ozone gas has been examined. As the result of the examinations, it has been determined that the 0.04 ppm ozone gas upon Trichophyton mentagrophytes colonies in different concentrations definitely bears an antifungal effect.
