Abstract (EN)
In the First Balkan War, the Kirk Kilisse was occupied by Bulgaria. Later on, the Bulgarian army heading to the Lüleburgaz-Pınarhisar region was able to stopped in Çatalca. İn the Second Balkan War, Bulgaria fought against other Balkan states which couldn't have an aggrement on land-sharing. At the end of this war, Kirk Kilisse was taken back with the Treaty of İstanbul which has been signed between Bulgaria and Ottoman Empire.
