Abstract (EN)

Banaz Stream, which originates from Murat Mountain, forms a part of the Upper Basin of the Büyük Menderes River. The northeast-southwest length of the Banaz Stream, which generally flows in the north-south direction due to the effect of topographic conditions, is approximately 111,59 km and the basin area is 4.198,12 km². The Banaz Stream Upper Basin, which is the study area, has a surface area of 1.041,49 km² and is located between 38°35' and 38°53' north latitudes and 29°33' and 29°57' east longitudes. In the study, it was tried to express the geomorphological development process of the Banaz Stream Upper Basin, the geomorphological units in the basin and how these units were used by people and what were the results of human use. The geology, climatic characteristics, vegetation, soil and hydrography characteristics and geomorphological units of the study site and the relationship between these units and land use are discussed in this context. Keywords: Uşak, Banaz, Banaz Stream, Geomorphology, Geomorphological Units.
