The Effect of Basketball Coaches Perception of Negative Behaviors (Mobbing) on Their Attitudes Towards Coaching In sports settings, the negative behaviors encountered by coaches have a significant impact on their professional motivation and attitudes. The primary aim of this study is to examine the relationship between basketball coaches' perceptions of mobbing and their attitudes toward coaching. Demographic variables such as gender, marital status, age, educational level, coaching experience, and the number of clubs they worked for were taken into consideration. The research was conducted using the relational survey method, and the "Negative Acts (Mobbing) Scale" and the "Attitude Toward Coaching Scale" were employed as data collection tools. A total of 280 volunteer basketball coaches participated in the study, including 193 males and 87 females, working in Youth and Sports Provincial/District Directorates, universities offering basketball specialization courses, public education centers, municipal sports clubs, and private sports clubs in the Eastern Anatolia Region. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, and One-Way ANOVA tests were used for data analysis through the SPSS 25.0 package program, with the significance level set at p<0.05. The findings revealed no significant differences in negative behaviors (mobbing) and coaching attitude subscales according to educational level and marital status (p>0.05). However, significant differences were found in relation to gender, age, coaching experience, and the number of clubs worked for (p<0.05). These results indicate that coaches' personal and professional characteristics may influence both their perceptions of negative behaviors in the workplace and their attitudes toward the profession.
