Abstract (EN)

The Anatolian Principalities, which started to emerge in the last period of the Anatolian Seljuk State and were established under the leadership of the border principalities, cover the transition period between the Seljuks and the Ottomans. Especially XIII. century and XIV. Germiyanoğulları, Karesioğulları, Aydınoğulları, Saruhanoğulları and Menteşeoğulları, which were located in Western Anatolia and formed the areas of domination, was the focus of my study. When the management understanding of the Western Anatolian Principalities is examined, it will not be wrong to say that they are the heirs and continuation of the Seljuks. In terms of the location where they are located, they have developed in maritime and coastal activities, and they have been in interaction with other states and among themselves. Many of the signs have been found in the five principalities that we have discussed in terms of the signs of sovereignty. The signs, which became official with the Great Seljuk State, were among the most important symbols of the ruler. It is striking that this tradition continues in the process leading up to the principalities, which are in the nature of heirs.
