Abstract (EN)

In this study, the concentrations of some heavy metals (Chromium (Cr), Lead (Pb), Nickel (Ni), Vanadium (V)) in crude oil extracted from Batman were investigated. For the determination of heavy metals, crude oil samples were dissolved in a closed system using a microwave oven. Subsequently, the solid phase extraction which is one of the analytical separation methods of silica gel adsorbent immobilized with 5-aminoisophthalic acid hydrazone derivative prepared previously, was allowed to concentrate using column method. The enrichment conditions of the elements of heavy metals were investigated by using column silica with modified silica gel method. The effects of factors such as solution pH, solution volume, flow rate, type of elution solution and matrix ions were investigated and appropriate enrichment conditions were determined. With the developed enrichment method, heavy metal samples were determined in various crude oil samples (Chrome (Cr), Lead (Pb), Nickel (Ni), Vanadium (V)). After testing the validity of the method, the determination of the trace elements mentioned above in crude oil samples was read in the AAS. Recovery tests were performed for all analytes by microconcentration method and recovery of 96% was achieved by using 2M, HNO3 acid solution as the absorbing solution. The use of diluted HNO3 (nitric acid) as the absorbing solution, which is an important element for minimizing interference with the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, is the main reason for the analysis of elements. The Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer was used.
