Abstract (EN)
Gray modeling theory is one of the preferred mathematical models for the predictions of time series in recent years. It is getting more and more attention due to its ability to make low-error predictions with little data and its simplicity in applicability. In this study, estimates were made for the years 2021-2028 using Turkey's greenhouse gas emission data from 2011 to 2020 with GM (1,1), NGM (1,1) and TDPGM (1,1). Mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) compares the actual values with forecasted values to evaluate the precision. It is evaluated that the total greenhouse gas emission indicator of Turkey will increase exponentially within next eight years.
