Abstract (EN)
In this study, ionic compounds, in which are carring boronium cation, were used to electrodeposition of boronium onto tool steels. Electrodeposition were applied different cathodic potentials in saturated solutions of dimethylformamide solvent and tetrabuthylammonium hegzaflourophosphate was used as supporting electrolyte. Surfaces of electrodeposited steel electrodes were investigated by SEM-EDX and electrochemical impedance spectrocopy tecniques. SEM images showed that surfaces electrodeposited to a great degree. Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy revealed that surface deposits contain about % 4-6 of boronium. EIS spectroscopy showed that steel surfaces have different polarization resistance and capasitance values that of untreated surfaces.
