Abstract (EN)

The study was conducted at the testing ground of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Agricultural Research and Application Directorate in 2016. Uzunlu 99, Gokce, Azkan, Yasa-05 ve Inci chickpeas were used as materials in the study. Five chickpea varieties, three different sowing time ( February 24th , March 3rd and April 1st ) and two different seed massiveness ( above 35 g and below 35g ) were applied in the study which was conducted at the split-split plot in randomized complete block design with 3 replications and sowing time formed main plots, cultivars formed sub plots and the massiveness formed sub-sub plots. Flowering and pod binding number of plant, which are the properties of phonological and agronomic, plant height, number of main branches, the first pod height, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed yield per plant, 100-seed weight, biological yield, harvest index rate of protein that is the quality property and water absorption capacity, water absorption index, swelling capacity, swelling index, and parameter of crust rate were examined in the study. From the parameters examined in the study, the effect of sowing time was found important in the all properties except for the properties of seed yield, the number of main branches, the number of seeds and pods per plant, biological yield, 100-seed weight, rate of protein and the rate of crust. As the sowing time delayed, decreasing in nearly most of the parameters were observed, the same kind of losing was also observed in the first sowing time. As the water absorption capacity and index from the quality elements were delayed, it decreased whereas the rate of the protein increased conversely as the swing time was delayed. It was found that high values were acquired from the seeds that are above 35g in all parameters except for the pod per plant and number of seeds, harvest index and water absorption index from the examined parameters. It was stated that while the chickpea varieties such as Gokçe and Azkan shared the first two rows in terms of seed yield, Inci chickpea acquired the highest values in terms of pod per plant and number of seeds.
