Investigation of the relationship of professional attitudes, job satisfaction and professional burnout in physical education and sports teachers

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between professional attitude, job satisfaction and professional burnout of physical education and sports teachers. In this direction, the research was carried out in the relational screening model. The data of the research were collected by questionnaire method and 522 physical education and sports teachers were reached. In the analysis of the data obtained, Mann Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis H test and Spearman Correlation analysis, which are non-parametric analyses, were used. According to the results of the research, there is a positive relationship between the professional attitude and job satisfaction of physical education and sports teachers; A negative significant relationship was found between both variables and occupational burnout. As teachers' professional attitudes increase at a positive level, their job satisfaction levels also increase. On the other hand, as teachers' professional burnout levels increase, their positive professional attitudes and job satisfaction levels decrease. In addition, in terms of professional attitude and job satisfaction, those with good welfare status are among those with moderate welfare status; of those who are not mobbed; those who feel successful in their profession and those who do not; from those who are satisfied with the settlement where they teach; from those who are not satisfied; of those who have the idea of teaching until retirement; It has been concluded that those who want to be a teacher again if given another chance get a significantly higher score than those who do not. At the level of occupational burnout, those who are mobbed compared to those who are not mobbed; of those who do not feel successful in their profession; those who are not satisfied with the settlement where they teach; those who do not have the thought of teaching until retirement; It has been concluded that those who do not want to be a teacher again, if given another chance, get significantly higher scores than those who want it.
