Abstract (EN)
Thepurpose of thisresearch is toinvestigatetherelationshipbetweenattachmentstylesanddifferentidentitystylesamongstudentswhoattendvariousschoolsandprograms in the Akdeniz University. Inthestudy, independentvariable is attachmentstylesanddependentvariable is identitystyles. Theuniverse ofthestudy is thestudentsattentingto Akdeniz University in 2016-2017 academicyear. Thesample of thestudy is consisted of 985 undergraduatestudents, 634 werefemaleand 351 weremale, attendingFaculties of Education, Literature, Nursesand Architecture. Indatacollection, Attachment-BasedMentalRepresentationsScale, Identity Style Inventory andPersonal Information Form wereused. T test resultsshowedthattherearesignificantgenderdifferences in thescores ofpositive-orientedmother, positive-orientedfather, positive self-sensation, negative-orientedmother, negative-orientedfather, negative self-sensation, informational-orientedanddiffuse/avoidant-oriented. Correlationanalysisresultssuggestedthattherearepositiverelationships of information-orientedidentitystylescoreswithpositive-orientedmother, positive-orientedfather, positive self-sensation,negative self-sensationscores. Therearenegativerelationships of normative-orientedidentitystylewithnegative-orientedmotherscoresandnegative self-sensationscores; andpositiverelationships of normative-orientedidentitystylescoreswithpositive-orientedmother, positive-orientedfatherandpositive self-sensation. Thereisa negativerelationsipbetweendiffuse-orientedidentitystylescoresandpositive self-sensationscores; andpositiverelationsips of diffuse-orientedidentitystylescoreswithnegative-orientedmother, negative-orientedfatherandnegative self-sensationscores. Therearenegativerelationships of commitmentidentitystylescoreswithnegative-orientedmother, negative-orientedfather, negative self-sensationscores; andpositiverelationsips of commitmentidentitystylescoreswithpositive-orientedmother, positive-orientedfatherandpositive self-sensationscores. Regression Analysis resultsshowedthatinformation-orientedidentitystylescoresaresignificantlypredictedbypositive self-sensationandnegative self-sensationscores. Normative-orientedidentitystylescoresaresignificantlypredictedbypositive-orientedmother, positive-orientedfather, positive self-sensationandnegative self-sensationscores. Diffuse-orientedidentitiystylescoresaresignificantlypredictedbynegative-orientedmotherandnegative-orientedfatherscores. Commitmentidentitystylescoresaresignificantlypredictedbypositive self-sensation, negative-orientedmotherandnegative self-sensationscores.
