Abstract (EN)

In this study, the electrochemical behaviours of Benzo[k]flouranthene on glassy carbon electrode surface have been examined in various buffer solutions on a broad pH scale. Firstly, variables which affect the performance of working electrode such as voltammetry or stripping voltammetry techniques have been investigated. Square waveform stripping technique has been adopted in order to determine the quantitation of Benzo[k]fluoranthene. As a result, a good linear analytic curve, which varies between 20 μM and 180 μM, at +0.80 voltage rating (vs. Ag/AgCl) in 0.1 Br buffer (pH 3.0), has been recorded. The dedection limit is 2.01 µM; and relative standard deviation value (RSD) has been calculated as %1.97 for the concentration value 80 µM (n=11). Moreover, the developed voltammetric method has been accomplished successfully in tap water samples. As for the final phase of the study, optimum conditions have been identified for chromatographic and spectroscopic analysis.
