Abstract (EN)

In this study, the first based on from salicylaldehyde and 1-chloroacetone (Benzofuran-2-yl)methylketone compound was synthesized. (Benzofuran-2-yl)methylketoxime compound, from (Benzofuran-2-yl)methylketone and hydroxylamine hydrochloride, was obtained by the presence of pyridine. (Benzofuran-2-yl)methylketoxime-O-methacrylate monomer, was obtained as a result of the reaction of (Benzofuran-2-yl) methylketoxime and methacryloyl chloride (Met-Cl).Homopolymer of (Benzofuran-2-yl)methylketoxime-O-methacrylate monomer and copolymer of (Benzofuran-2-yl)methylketoxime-O-methacrylate monomer with styrene, in the presence of initiator, was obtained by the free radicalic polymerization method.The structures of the polymers were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. The glass transition temperature of homopolymer and copolymer were measured by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Mw/Mn and avarage molecular weight of the polymers were determined using Gel Permation Chromatography (GPC).Thermal behaviord of homo and copolymers were measured and activation energies (Ea) of thermal decomposition were calculated by Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) method
