Abstract (EN)

In this study, the mediating role of social capital in the effect of five-factor personality traits on internal entrepreneurship is investigated. In this context, a questionnaire with 86 questions, which includes questions about measuring personality traits, internal entrepreneurship and social capital, was applied to 607 employees in large-scale textile enterprises operating in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS program plugin PROCESS Macro. As a result of the analyses, it was observed that the extroversion, compatibility, openness to experience and responsibility dimensions of the five-factor personality traits affect internal entrepreneurship and social capital positively and significantly. In addition, five factor personality traits were determined to have an intermediary role of the social capital the sub dimensions of which are extroversion, compatibility, responsibility, neuroticism and openness to experience on the effect of internal entrepreneurship.
