Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to determine the levels of fifth grade students in multiple intelligence types, to determine their access to information technologies and software course (Communication, Research and Collaboration Unit), and to examine the access of students to information technologies and software course (Communication, Research and Collaboration Unit) according to their levels in multiple intelligence types. The research group consisted of 448 fifth grade students of six schools determined according to their settlements in Aksaray province in the 2023-2024 academic year. It is aimed to create diversity in terms of family structure and socioeconomic level in the students who constitute the research group by selecting the secondary schools that constitute the research area from different settlements. In the research, the descriptive research model was adopted from quantitative methods. Multiple intelligence types and levels of students The Multiple Intelligence Scale for Children developed by Dr. Susar Kırmızı and the access to information technologies and software courses were measured with the success test prepared by the researcher himself. In the analysis of the data collected in the research, descriptive statistics, independent groups t-test and analysis of variance were used, and post-hoc tests were performed to determine which groups had significant differences. As a result of the analyses, it was concluded that the students participating in the study had the least "Naturalistic" type of intelligence, the most "Interpersonal-Social" type of intelligence, female students were more successful than male students, those with a university education level of parents were more successful than those with a secondary school degree, and those with a daily frequency of computer use of 6-8 hours were more successful than those with 0-2 hours. The access of students to information technologies and software courses showed significant differences only according to the "Verbal" intelligence type, and it was concluded that students with a third quarter intelligence level were more successful than those in the first quarter. In addition, the findings were discussed on the basis of the relevant literature and suggestions were made for future research and applications.
