Abstract (EN)

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) is used for strengthening or retrofitting of RC structures frequently at last decades. Although there are studies about the stress distribution between CFRP plates and concrete, there are very limited amount of studies about the behaviours of anchorages that are applied to ends of CFRP plates used for connection. Connecting diagonal strips of CFRP to columns and beams of masonry infilled RC frames is a significant problem. In this study, two different anchoraging techniques of CFRP plates to concrete that found its place in literature are compared with their pros and cons. Load carrying capacity and behaviours of CFRP plates that are bonded and anchoraged from both ends are investigated fully. RC beams with a notch at the constant moment region and without any tension reinforcement at notch region are used in the study. CFRP plates are bonded to tension region of RC beam like described in the experimental programme. Specimens are tested under monotonous four points loading. Parameters that are investigated in this study are the anchorages types and the number of applied anchorages. Similar results were optainedby using a fan or direct application of anchorage in experimental study. Succesfull results were optained, when the number of anchorage were increased in, the specimens with direct application of anchorage.
