Abstract (EN)
It has become mandatory to use specific design spectra for geographical coordinates with the latest seismic code. Within the scope of this study, it was tried to determine at what level different geographic locations affect the seismicity parameters and design spectra within the city by choosing one geographical point from each of the districts of Diyarbakır. For this purpose, earthquake parameters, horizontal and vertical elastic design spectra were obtained for all geographic locations considered in this study, taking into account four different ground motion levels and five different local ground conditions specified in the current seismic code, and the results were compared. Structural analyses were carried out by taking into account the different negativity parameters of the reinforced-concrete structure selected as an example by using the obtained design spectra. Short column, soft story, irregularity in plan and number of stories were chosen parameters as variables in this study. Analysis results were obtained by using the design spectra obtained for each geographic location considered in the study separately for each negativity parameter. With this study, the effects of both geographic location-specific design spectra and these spectrum curves on the negativity parameters that can be found in the structure were examined separately.
