Özet (EN)

Beyköy is a village in the İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar and is located in the north of Afyonkarahisar center. Üçlerkayası Village is located to the northwest of the village, Bayramaliler and Demirli village to the northeast, Akören Village to the south, Kayıhan town to the southeast, and İhsaniye to the southwest. Located in the mountainous Phrygia region, Beyköy and its surroundings are very rich in historical values. The mountainous Phrygia region generally has a rocky terrain that can be easily shaped. Thanks to this feature, various temples, monumental structures and rock tombs were created by the societies that came and settled in this area in the past. Beyköy has taken its share from this historical richness. The movable and immovable cultural assets, which are the traces of the cultural layers revealed by the civilizations that have lived throughout history in Anatolia, constitute our cultural heritage. In this context, as a result of the detailed examination of the immovable cultural assets found in the village as a result of the archaeological surveys, and by examining and classifying the movable artifacts preserved in the Afyonkarahisar archeology museum, a cultural inventory was tried to be created. As a result of the investigations, findings belonging to the EBA II, Hittite, Phryg, Roman and Byzantine periods were found in Beyköy. In Beyköy, in previous years, especially W.M. Some scientists such as Ramsay, C. H. Emilie Haspels, Hatice Gonnet, Eser Kortanoğlu have made researches. In these studies, only the Mound and the Yumrukaya Necropolis in the village were mentioned. Other necropolises, ancient roads and immovable artifacts were not mentioned. We planned to do a study in which all these works were given together and tried to make up for the deficiency in this area. Keywords: Beyköy, rock tombs, culturel inventory, Afyonkarahisar, immovable and movable remains
