Abstract (EN)

Soil properties change upon land use. In this study; changes have been determined in physical and chemical properties of soils used as forest, territory converted from forest and fruit garden for the determination of some changes occurred in some soil properties of lands converted from forest located in various districts of Bilecik . For this purpose, 16 pieces of soil samples with depths of 0-15, 15-30 and 30-60 cm. have been taken from fields belonging to each of use groups in accordance with random sampling procedure. In these soil samples; physical (territory capacity and fading point humid content , soil texture, hydraulic conductivity, bulk density) and chemical (organic substance , lime content, pH, EC, cation change capacity , nitrogen phosphorus, variable sodium, potassium , calcium, magnesium) soil properties have been examined. Due to statistical evaluation performed ; soil properties are different (p<0,05) except phosphorus, silt and variable sodium among the ones used at the dirt surface (15-30 cm), whereas subject properties are different p<0,05) except silt , variable sodium and hydraulic conductivity in sub surface soil (30-60 cm). As is comprehended from this study; for the protection of soil quality, soils should be used in compliance with their qualification and ability after their features are specified.
