Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the level of usage of information and communication technologies, computer thinking and green IT perception. Another aim is to reveal the mediating role of computer thinking in the impact of information and communication technologies on green information perception. Quantitative research methods were used in the study. The sample of the study consisted of 432 employees working in the directorate of Malatya Governorate in 2018. Information and communication technologies, computer thinking and green information scale were used to collect data. Correlation, regression analysis and structural equation model were used to analyze the quantitative data. As a result of these findings, it is concluded that the awareness of the harm to nature after conscious consumption and usage after the use of technological products increases. In addition, employees are directly willing to use information and communication technologies, to have information and internet usage on BIT, to produce alternative solutions related to problems indirectly, to follow developments, to use mathematical operations to solve problems and to present new ideas, to buy and use environmentally sensitive technological products. It is concluded that it is effective.
