Özet (EN)

This study is done to reveal the general features of the cattle enterprises carried out as a part of The DAP Project in Bingöl province. Within this study, technical and structural data is collected by survey methods from 7 cattle enterprises in the centre of Bingöl City. According to the results of the survey, 71.4% of the surveyed individuals' families consist of 5 people. The individuals who are primary and high school graduates are 42.9 % while 14.3% of operators who had graduated from secondary school has been identified. 71.4% of the individuals were members of agricultural cooperatives, 28.6% stated that they were not the members. According to the results, surveyed enterprises which have a number of 110 to 150 heads and which have more than 150 heads have a proportion of 28.6% while 42.9% of them have less than 110 cattle's. As a result, it can be uttered that the flock management is generally enough but production is not in sufficient levels because of the lack of qualified care workers and feeding problems.
