Abstract (EN)
China's One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative has had significant global impact as one of the most important and assertive economic and strategic projects. Designed to foster economic cooperation and modernize the trade route, the project involves extensive infrastructure investments connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa. Türkiye, strategically positioned as a key player in regional power dynamics, has emerged as a vital participant in the OBOR initiative. This study analyzes the economic, geopolitical, and strategic implications of the OBOR project on Turkey. It examines Türkiye's role within the project, its contribution to Türkiye's economic growth and regional politics, and potential risks. Additionally, the research investigates the OBOR project's influence on Türkiye's international relations and its significance for Turkey's future strategic position. Ultimately, the study rigorously assesses Türkiye's place and value within the OBOR initiative and the sustainability of potential gains derived from the project.
