Abstract (EN)
In this study, for 10 age-group athletes participating to competitions in individual, dual and team sports, according to the test of TGMD- II to investigate basic motor characteristics.In April 2010, sports will be measured and in these sports to determine whether sufficient number of ten age group boys, preliminary has been done with sports experts who are on duty in Bursa provincial directorate of youth and sports. The data were taken from the institution by evaluating for the study, it was determined that sufficient number athletes attended to training and competitions (handball, football, table tennis, tennis, taekwondo, and swimming) as regularly. Taekwondo and swimming individual sports, table tennis and tennis dual sports, however football and handball were accepted as team sports from the sports were determined. The test of TGMD-II which widely used to measure basic motor characteristics was applied as measurement method. After the written informed consent was obtained from the each of family of athletes and coaches, the measurements were applied between the month of may and June in 2010. As statistics method, Firstly, to determine whether the data have a normal distribution, Kolmogorov-Simirnov and Spapiro-Wilk normality tests were performed. To determine whether there is a significant difference between the groups, one- way variance analysis test was performed in the level of significant ?=0.05 (Oneway ANOVA). Tukey?s HSD test was used as the second level test for significant differences.Study results, No significant difference was found between TGMD-II sub-test scores of loco motor (F2,119; 1.479; P>0.246), a significant difference was found between TGMD-II sub- test scores of object control (F2,119; 7.935; P<0.001). a significant difference was found between total TGMD-II scores (F2,119; 7.141; P<0.001) in individual, dual and teams sports athletes, according to sport branch, a significant difference was found between TGMD-II sub-test scores of loco-motor (F5,119; 8.058; P<0.001), a significant difference was found between TGMD-II sub- test scores of object control (F5,119; 7.037; P<0.001) and a significant difference was found between total TGMD-II scores (F5,119; 9.722; P<0.001).The results from this study support previous studies. Significant differences were seen between TGMD-II sub-test loco-motor, sub- test object control and total TGMD-II scores; this may be result from to tend children? individual, dual and team sports. However, as the sport branch effect, another effect may be that children are in the term of adolescence. Similiar studies may be useful in taking control of adolescent and diversity of development, various age groups and different sport disciplines.Key words: child, sport, motor tests, physical measurements.
