Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the changes in some physical and hydro-physical properties of soils in different land use patterns, different elevation ranges and slopes in Deviskel Basin in Borcka district of Artvin province. For this purpose, in each land use (agriculture, forest and grassland), four elevation ranges (100-600 m, 600-1200 m, 1200-1800 m,> 1800 m) and three different slope groups (% 0-12, % 12-30) ,> % 30). A total of 216 sachets (degraded soil sample), 216 cylinders (undisturbed soil) from two depth levels of 0-10 cm and 10-20 cm at 108 different points (36 forests, 36 agriculture, 36 pasture areas) in the designated areas example). On the samples taken from the land; texture (amount of sand, clay, dust), "soil fractions, water holding capacity, permeability, soil moisture constants, bulk density, particle density, soil porosity, organic matter, pH, electrical conductivity, dispersion ratio, colloid/moisture equivalent ratio, erosion ratio", clay ratio and aggregate stability were analyzed. Soil characteristics were compared by using variance analysis methods according to land use type, elevation step, slope group and depth levels. Differences between means were determined by Duncan multiple comparison test. As a result of these analyzes, it was determined that the soil characteristics examined at the research area showed significant difference statistically from 15 according to land use and elevation factor, 2 according to slope factor and 3 according to depth level. According to erodibility index values, all watershed soils have been found to be susceptible to erosion.
