Context dictionary of Botogöz Bulak story

Semantics which words express separately are not enough to understand the whole. A word in a text is understood with the reference to the concept of the text. Generating a word with the reference to the concept of the text makes a significant contribution to the other researchers in the field. Studies of concept dictionary is done to serve this purpose, too. Thanks to these studies, semantic richness is being revealed. Shortage of the concept dictionary studies on Contemporary Turkish Dialects is remarkable. The scarcity of context dictionary studies in the field of contemporary Turkish dialects draws attention. We think that this study will be important in eliminating the deficiency in our field, that it can add new headings to the Kyrgyz dictionaries and prepare the ground for stylistic studies on any work of Kyrgyz literature. In this study, considering the period in which Cengiz Aytmatov lived, the words in the story of Botogöz Bulak were given meanings based on the context, the vocabulary of the work was revealed and determined together with its witnesses. After revealing the vocabulary of the story, the context dictionary of the work was revealed with all its witnesses and frequencies. It is aimed to create a functional dictionary based on the context. In addition, by giving the frequency of use of witnesses who make up the vocabulary, concrete data for stylistic studies emerge. In the study, Kyrgyz Turkish, Kyrgyz literature and the literary personality of Cengiz Aytmatov are also mentioned. In the evaluation and conclusion part of the study, evaluations were made based on the numerical data obtained. In the examined work, it was determined that 816 nouns were used with 2254 frequencies, and 665 verbs were used with 2158 frequencies. While the number of auxiliary verbs used in the work is 217, the frequency number has been determined as 662. In the analyzed work, it is seen that 261 phrases consisting of idioms, reduplications, prayer and curse expressions and relationship words are used with a frequency of 308. In total, it was determined that 1959 items were used with 5382 frequencies. The frequency of some of these items draws attention. It is seen that most of the remarkable items are Sovietism self-statements. The aim of the study is to contribute to the Kyrgyz dictionaries by revealing the vocabulary of the Botogöz Bulak story, and to contribute to a more accurate understanding of Cengiz Aytmatov and his authorship, to the studies to be made about the author's style and to the Kyrgyz storytelling.
