Abstract (EN)
Multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods are used in solving decision problems, determining the best among multiple alternatives and analyzing preferences in the most ideal way. In this study, it is aimed to determine the weights of the criteria for preference of Sports Purpose Vehicles (SUV) with increasing demand. The personal criteria and objective criteria of the decision makers who prefer to buy an SUV while being a passenger car user were evaluated with the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP), which is one of the multi-criteria decision-making methods, and according to the findings, which is the most important criterion for the decision makers. A semi-structured questionnaire was used as a data collection method in the study. Semi-structured questionnaires were applied to ten different consumers who had purchased SUVs. Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program was used for the digitization and analysis of the data obtained from the consumers with the questionnaire form.
