Abstract (EN)

Anthologies are composed of prose and verse parts which are generally selected according to a particular purpose and method. In the Turkish Literature, the most ancient antolojical ahsa are magazines of poetry and biographies of the poets that contain information about the poets.In this study, we transferred the prose part of Müntahabat-ı Bedâyî-i Edebiye?s which is one of the most known anthologies of 19th century. We aimed that to provide benefit to the explorers by preparing glossary and index. Also, at the begining of the study we make a general assessment about the ahsa in the anthology.The prose part of Bedayi-i Edebiye consist of 384 pages and the examples of Works which belong Tanzimat?s and Servet-i Fünun?s poets and writers. The prose part of Bedayi-i Edebiye composed of 54 writings of 13 writers. These writings are written by the types of letter, article, story, memory, poetry.There are Hersekli Arif Hikmet?s 5 writings, Namık Kemal?s 13 writings, Samipaşazade Sezai?s 9 writings, Abdülhak Hamid?s 8 writings, Rıza Tevfik?s 1 writings, Recaizade Mahmut Ekrem?s 5 writings, Semsettin Sami?s 5 writings, Muallim Naci?s 1 writings, Tahir Menelizade?s 2 writings, Ziya ahsa?s 1 writings, İbnü?r Reşat Ali Ferruh?s 2 writings, Nabızade Nazim ahsa?s 1 writings and Münif ahsa?s 1 writings in this work. In the last two pages of this study, Bulgurluzade Rıza?s writing ? Bir İfadecik? which contains his opinions about anthology shortly is participated.
