An analysis on Burhan Sönmez's novels

This study focuses on the life, understanding of literary art and works of Burhan Sönmez, who gained a place in the literary world with his first novel in 2009; Additionally, his novels were examined in terms of structure and theme. In the introduction of the first part of the thesis titled "A Study on Burhan Sönmez's Novels", general information about the course of the novel genre in Turkish literature is given. In the second part, the author's life, his view of art and his works are focused on. In the third part, the author's novels; It was examined on the basis of name-content relationship, plot, cast of characters, time, place and them In the conclusion part of the fourth chapter of the thesis, a general evaluation of the study was made and the findings and conclusions regarding the author's understanding of art and novel writing were evaluated.
