Abstract (EN)
Jet production in hadron-hadron collisions is sensitive to the nature of the underlying parton-parton scattering processes, to the details of parton radiation, as well as to the knowledge of the proton structure, expressed in terms of parton distribution functions (PDFs). The recent CMS measurement of the inclusive jet cross section at 7 TeV extends the accessible phase space in jet transverse momentum (pT) up to 2 TeV and ranges up to 4.7 in absolute jet rapidity (y). CMS jet data favour a larger gluon PDF at high x compared to the deep inelastic scattering (DIS) data. Key Words : Low-x, Jet, Parton, PDF, CMS
